Silvia Baldi

I am a professional translator working from English, French and Spanish into Italian, my native language.

I am based in Treviso, Italy (the land of Prosecco, a reasonably successful rugby team and, as legend has it, even Tiramisu).

My mission is to support multinational companies, cultural institutions and SMEs in driving their global communication efforts, counting on my far-reaching intercultural awareness and
understanding of corporate practices and etiquette.

 Yesterday: when it all started.

I obtained an MA degree in Conference Interpreting and Translation from the University of Trieste in 2004. My final dissertation on London entertainment magazine Time Out gave me an insight into the world of mass media and journalism.

Since then, I have never stopped learning and expanding my range of skills so as to provide an outstanding, targeted and impeccable service to all my clients.

Today: a global partner for your business.

After Trieste, London, and Vienna, my career is now global: I work with direct clients and agencies across the world (Europe, US, Asia, Australia. I look forward to adding Africa to the list).

I act as a mentor for translators starting out in the industry, focusing on business and marketing issues, through, the largest online translators’ community. To find out more, visit Mentoring Program page.
